Most of my time behind the lens is spent in the chaos of hardcore and metal shows. So stepping into a completely different world to photograph Sickick at Stereo Live in Houston was a refreshing change of pace. The energy was high from the moment he hit the stage, and the atmosphere he creates is less about chaos and more about pure, hypnotic vibe. It was a blast to capture, documenting not just the music, but the pulse of the room.

Six Feet Closer to Hell Tour Wrecks Houston – The Acacia Strain Live
Six Feet Closer to Hell tore through Houston this week and terrorized White Oak Music Hall. Tribal Gaze lit the fuse, kicking things off with a great set that included their newly released track, Beyond Recognition. From there, the intensity continued to build with No Cure, Ingrown, and Bodysnatcher all crushing it.
By the time The Acacia Strain stormed the stage the place was chaos. No one was safe.

Vomit Forth - Promos and Live Photos in Houston, TX
Vomit Forth ripped through Houston with 200 Stab Wounds, and I linked up with them before they crushed The End to knock out some new promos. I’ve been wanting to shoot with them since their latest record dropped last October. Glad we were able to make it happen.
A Door Left Open Tour
Orthodox is closing in on the end of their A Door Left Open tour, and Houston got the full punishment. The show at The End was completely sold out, fans shoulder to shoulder in sweat-drenched chaos. I came out to shoot Mugshot’s and landed the opportunity to cover Orthodox, too.
Right out of gate, it was mayhem. From Joy and Omerta wrecked the place—hometown pride on full display. I didn’t get to shoot their sets, but the room was already on fire by the time they finished.
Mugshot came out swinging, ripping through tracks from All The Devils Are Here. The new material hits even harder live!
Orthodox leveled the place. They played their entire set under house lights—no frills, no bullshit. Just raw intensity. Shooting them in that kind of atmosphere was wild. This one was sweaty, loud, and unrelenting—just how it should be.

We Lost The Sea - North American Voyage
We Lost The Sea has officially kicked off their first-ever North American tour, and I had the privilege of covering the opening night in Dallas at RBC Deep Ellum—thanks to Bird’s Robe for making it happen. From the moment I arrived, the entire WLTS crew couldn’t have been more welcoming. I spent some time with the band before the show, grabbing some behind-the-scenes portraits and capturing everything leading up to their performance.
As expected, the show was nothing short of powerful. WLTS delivered a set that felt like it swept the audience away on a massive tide—waves of sound that transport you somewhere else entirely, if only for a moment. If you’re a fan of WLTS or post-rock in general, this is a tour you don’t want to miss.
